Very high triglyceride
by: k.zaman

Hi

I am 42 years my triglyceride level is always high, 450 to 850.

But when I take medicine it comes down to 140 to 150 minimum. The Doctor told me that it is a genetic problem because my father had bypass surgery, and later he died from a heart attack.

how to reduce triglyceride levels - 176 aint bad.
by: Anonymous

Hello, a 176 number is not bad at all.

To get it to the 150 number you may ride a bike more often and lower your carb intake.

Good luck and dont stress yet. 176 isn't that high. Stay away from prescriptions too.
